The Tea Ceremony is one of the most important cultural traditions in Chinese culture. It kicks off with door games, which is a series of lighthearted games that the bride's family has the groom play in order to prove his love for the bride. Once completed, the groom is allowed to see his bride and the two serve tea to their respective families, including parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, elder siblings and cousins. The tea ceremony symbolizes the union of families and a blessing for a lifetime of happiness and prosperity.

Due to capacity and venue restrictions, this event is reserved for family only.

Comfortable!

For the brave and daring, we're taking it back to where it all started: Osheaga. You can think of Montréal's annual music festival as a smaller Coachella – similar diversity in genres with a much friendlier crowd (because, Canada). Depending on how we feel the morning after, we'll be looking to gather a crew to attend the festival, where Kendrick Lamar will be headlining (which we have a whole separate story about).

Tickets and information can be found here.
